Good to catch up on some Bumpin news every once in a while.

As for plans to head back to Korea??? I make them afresh every time time I catch the train home drunk in the middle of the night. Sometimes the longing is so strong that I am almost on the way to the airport before I remember that my passport is at home. It is never easy to be away from somewhere that you think of as home for so long and from those poeple that you think of either.

I have some mates from Gangneung with me in London which makes life easier.

And life is generally fantastic here in London! I get that 'you look different from last year' comment from folk- and somehow 'yes my mum had just died when you met me' never seems to go down so well.

Never thought that I would be happy here again but am happier now than I have been for years- lots of paranoia seems to have been left behind in the toilets in Bumpin or something.

I truly hope to be back and raising a glass in Bumpin sometime in the not too distant. But the next plan is Colombia in January for a couple of months. Having tasted the luxuries of teaching English somewhere it means something I am not sure that I want to go back to a monolingual environment again.

But a visit would be good!
